Is the Old Testament Obsolete? - Forum

Many Christians quietly wonder: Does the Old Testament still matter? Or has it been replaced by the New? What if the Old Testament isn't outdated-but actually essential? What if it holds rich truths that unlock a deeper, more powerful understanding of Jesus and the New Testament? Jesus thought so. The Old Testament was the only Bible He ever preached from. He quoted it, taught from it, and said of it "You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life." (John 5:39-40) --- Title: Is the Old Testament Obsolete? Date: July 14, 2026, 10:40 AM Event Type: Forum Speaker: Bro.
