Our handle is @guysatthebartalkingsports Words of the Day describes a game from last weekend: 1. Unexpected- USC struggled heavily against Colorado. 2. Completely expected- Texas’s overall performance so far this season. I knew this was gonna be a good season for them, and they continue to impress. 3. Damn- Florida vs Kentucky 4. Told you so- I don’t have one. 5. Beast mode- Ray Davis’s performance against the Florida gators. They looked like a high school defensive line. Questions from the Web: 1. I know this has is not an NFL show, BUT: WTF is up with the Bengals and Joe Burrow? 2. Which team is honestly the #1 team, or are there just a bunch of possible #1 teams 3. What do y’all think of the new clock rules in CFB so far? 4. Is Colorado still relevant after coming back and almost beating USC? Games of the Week: 1. Maryland at #4 Ohio State- Ohio state better not be underestimating Maryland going into week 6. Yes they are playing at home, but Maryland has been making easy work out of everyone they’ve faced this season leading to a 5-0 start. Taulia Tagovailoa is actually a very effective QB. 1464 yards on the season, 26th ranked QB in CFB. OSU is ranked 18th in passing offense, Maryland is ranked 19th. Maryland is ranked 31st in total offense, while OSU is ranked 33rd. Where these two teams separate is on defense, where OSU will clearly dominate. That being said, if that defense gets that little push that some teams get from adrenaline, OSU better be ready. 2. #23 LSU at #22 Mizzu- I feel like LSU defensively was looking good until last week against Ole Miss. That d could not stop a quality offensive team, and I think Mizzu has been studying that tape, and they have the talent to capitalize. Redshirt JR. Brady Cook has shown he can score at will so far this season. LSU has show the same though. Defense will be the factor in this game, LSU has to do better. Will Brian Kelly have LSU’s defense wiped into shape, or does this game come down to two very good QB’s in Cook and Jayden Daniels going back and forth in a fun shootout? 3. #12 Oklahoma vs #3 Texas. #20 Kentucky at #1 Georgia. #11 Alabama at Texas A&M. #10 Notre Dame at #25 Louisville- 1 loss Notre Dame vs 0 loss Louisville. Last Call: Give me a few teams that make it out of October undefeated?
