Is VGK ready for the new season?

The Golden Knights are preparing for the new season, which begins this Wednesday at the Fortress vs Colorado. Head coach Bruce Cassidy said at Sunday's VGK Fanfest that the team "was coming along well, taking care of some areas of their game and then Saturday night some of it crept back in." VGK lost to San Jose in the preseason finale by letting up three goals in the final three minutes in a 6-5 loss. Cassidy feels the team has to work to clean up some areas before Wednesday. The Golden Knights Sunday waived three players: Rondbjerg, Laczynski, and Aston-Reese. If not claimed they will return to Henderson (AHL.) We also recap the annual Fanfest.
