Come in for five minutes, let’s open God’s Word together, and let’s pray. As the light begins to soften and another day moves towards its close, our minds often become crowded with unfinished thoughts. We replay moments we wish had gone differently, think about tomorrow’s responsibilities or quietly carry concerns that nobody else can see. Yet God lovingly invites us to place our attention upon Him, where anxious thoughts begin to lose their grip and lasting peace quietly takes root. Isaiah 26:3 (NIV) “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” What a gentle promise for this evening. Peace does not begin when every question has been answered; peace begins when our hearts choose to trust the One who already holds tomorrow. The Lord steadies restless minds, calms anxious hearts and remains faithful through every changing circumstance. So this evening, let’s gently remind ourselves that fear will not win, because Jesus Christ is our perfect peace, faithfully holding us even when life feels uncertain. Father, thank You for welcoming us into the quietness of this evening. Thank You that Your peace reaches places where worry cannot heal, Your presence calms what anxiety cannot control and Your love continues to surround us without measure. Lord Jesus, encourage every listener tonight. Bring healing to those who are unwell, calm to troubled minds, comfort to those carrying hidden burdens and renewed strength to everyone who feels emotionally weary. Teach us to rest our thoughts in You and discover the quiet confidence that grows through trusting Your faithful heart. Holy Spirit, settle every anxious thought, renew our inner peace and gently draw our attention back to the goodness of God. Across the world, from Adelaide to Queenstown, from Singapore to Phoenix and Montevideo, may every listener enter this evening with a settled heart, trusting the God whose peace never fades.
