I release this day. Every thought, every concern, every moment that has followed me into this night—I place it into Your hands. I do not carry what You are already holding. My mind becomes steady. Where there has been movement, You bring stillness. Where there has been noise, You bring quiet. My thoughts settle as I focus on You and trust in Your presence. You hold me in peace. Not a temporary calm, but a deep and steady peace that settles within my heart and remains as I enter into rest. So I lie down without fear. My body rests. My breathing slows. My heart is calm, because I know that I am safe in You. You keep me. Through every moment of this night, You are present. You are watching. You are covering me with Your peace and protection. And I rest in this truth—You love me. Because You love me, You gave Your Son. Because You love me, I am not alone. Because You love me, I am secure in every moment. Jesus, surround me with Your peace. Let this night be calm, steady, and filled with Your presence. Let my rest be deep, uninterrupted, and full of peace. I rest in You.
