Energy begins to fade, responsibilities continue to grow and the list of things still waiting for us can seem overwhelming. If today has become heavier than you imagined, you are not alone. Before we try to push on through our own strength, let’s pause together and remember that our Heavenly Father never asks us to carry today’s burdens without His help. He delights in renewing weary hearts. Scripture (NIV) “But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” — Isaiah 40:31 Heavenly Father, thank You that when our strength begins to fade, Yours never does. As we pause in the middle of this day, renew our hearts with Your presence and fill us again with quiet confidence. Help us not to rush ahead in our own strength but to walk steadily with You. Give us patience for every responsibility, kindness in every conversation and wisdom for every decision still before us. Where we feel weary, breathe fresh courage into our spirits. Where we feel uncertain, remind us that You remain faithful. May Your Holy Spirit strengthen us from within so that we continue this day reflecting the peace, grace and love of Jesus Christ. Fear will not win, because the Lord renews the strength of those who place their hope in Him. May the Lord renew your strength this afternoon, steady your heart with His peace and remind you that He walks faithfully beside you every step of the way.
