The demands of life can quietly drain our strength. This is the moment to stop and receive from Jesus. Scripture — Isaiah 40:31 (NIV) “Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.” By midday, even when we have started well, we can discover that our strength is running low. The decisions of the morning, the demands of work, family responsibilities and the quiet pressures we carry can leave us feeling worn down. We began this day asking Jesus for light, and then we asked Him to guide our steps. Now we come to Him for strength to keep walking. Isaiah reminds us that those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. Lord Jesus, thank You that You do not measure us by how strong we feel at this moment. When our energy is low, You invite us to place our hope in You. Today we pray for people in United Kingdom, New Zealand, Singapore, Japan, South Africa, and Germany. Renew those who are physically tired, emotionally drained or spiritually discouraged. Holy Spirit, breathe fresh strength into people who have been carrying more than they expected. Jesus, teach us that perseverance does not always look dramatic. Sometimes it is simply getting up again, making the next right choice, forgiving someone, finishing what needs to be done, or continuing to trust You when we cannot see immediate change. Where our hearts have become heavy, renew our hope. Where disappointment has weakened us, remind us that You are still faithful. Where we feel we have nothing left to give, help us receive from You before we try to give again. Lord Jesus, carry us through the rest of this day.
