The day has been lived, and the things that could be done have been done. Yet our minds don’t always slow down as quickly as the evening arrives. Before tomorrow asks anything of us, tonight offers us something precious: the opportunity to rest in God’s care. He is still with us, still faithful and still holding us. Let’s end this day together in prayer. Scripture (NIV) “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” — Isaiah 41:10 Heavenly Father, thank You for staying with us through every hour of this day. As we prepare to rest, we place into Your hands every concern that still lingers, every unanswered question and every hope we carry into tomorrow. Thank You for Your promise to strengthen us, help us and uphold us. Let Your peace settle over our hearts and our homes tonight. Grant us deep, refreshing sleep, renew our minds and bodies as we rest, and help us to wake with grateful hearts, ready to walk with You into a new day, knowing that Your faithful love never changes. Fear will not win, because our faithful God holds us securely in His loving hands. May the Lord watch over you through this night, surround you with His peace and awaken you with fresh strength for the day ahead.
