Isaiah 43 : 1-21 - Moving Forward

Today, read in Isaiah 43:1-2,  the powerful message of reassurance, redemption, and divine protection from God to His people. God reminds Israel that He created, formed, and redeemed them, calling them by name and declaring, “You are Mine.” He promises His presence through every trial, such as waters, rivers, and fire, affirming that none of these will overwhelm or destroy them.God emphasizes His unique role as the only Savior, the One who delivers His people and works miracles on their behalf. He recalls past acts of deliverance, such as parting the sea, yet urges them not to dwell on the former things because He is doing something new—creating pathways in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.The passage ends by highlighting God’s purpose for His people: they were formed to declare His praise. Despite their failures and forgetfulness, God’s faithfulness stands. He promises restoration, protection, and renewal, showing that He acts out of love, not because of Israel’s worthiness, but because of His covenant and character.
