Isaiah 55:1-5Most of chapter 55 is spoken by the pre-incarnate Messiah, Jesus. The invitation is to come and drink, without cost, of the waters of redemption and to not waste time on things that don't matter. This is the offer of mercy through which the Lord promises that through His mercy He will establish an everlasting covenant. The offer of Messiah, in verses 3-5, is given freely to all people.
