Israel Dodged a Huge Societal Bullet with the Current Right Left Government

Israel today has a very unusual government coalition with some right-wing parties sitting together with mostly every single left-wing party and the Islamist party. While I have plenty of criticism towards this government, there is one huge societal issue that it actually helped prevent. And the most interesting thing is that they never even planned to prevent it. It just happened. Yet, this is one of the most important societal shifts for Israel to ever have taken place.
