Dag in dag uitgaat het Israëlische leger door met het bombarderen en verwoesten van Gaza, waarbij veel doden vallen, waaronder ook veel vrouwen en kinderen. Premier Netanyahu houdt vol dat zijn doel het uitschakelen van Hamas is en het redden van de gijzelaars. Maar is dat echt zo? Wat zien we eigenlijk gebeuren in Gaza en wat is het plan daarachter? Is er wel een plan? Collega Edwin Koopman ging te rade bij Israëlische deskundigen. (14:19) Wie is de Salvadoraanse man die in de VS uitgroeit tot een politieke kwestie? De migrant Kilmar Ábrego García is onterecht door de Amerikaanse overheid naar El Salvador gedeporteerd, ondanks een rechterlijk bevel dat hem beschermde tegen uitzetting. Sinds 2019 woonde hij in Maryland met zijn vrouw en kinderen. De deportatie werd later erkend als een administratieve fout, maar de Amerikaanse regering weigert tot nu toe actie te ondernemen om hem terug te halen.
