It Is What It Is

Greetings everyone, and may grace, mercy, and peace be multiplied to you. We will be in Philippians 2 today. “It is what it is”. It’s a popular phrase used today, but how are we really using it? At its heart, it means to accept the circumstances as they are, and to trust God’s plan, regardless of how we feel. We are going to suffer in this life, and if we are only concerned about suffering or making sure we are comfortable, then we aren’t looking out for the interests of others. As Christians, we are to be obedient to the point of suffering, so that the lost will be saved. “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28 19-20 Don’t forget to pray for one another, especially during these uncertain times.
