Nir has been a Solutions Network Engineer for over 20 years and realized his income potential had become limited, so he started investing in real estate in 2016.  Like many, he started with wholesaling houses and quickly learned it is like having another whole job and required a lot of time.  He is still working a regular 'W-2" job that he likes, so he decided that he did not have enough time to invest in real estate that way.  He learned about passive investing and syndications and found that to be the right solution.  He can participate both actively and passively given that commercial real estate is a team sport.  He has educated himself enough to participate in the management and therefore can offer similar opportunities to his investors.
