It Shouldn't Have Meant So Much... But It Did

I left Whistler expecting an ordinary drive home. Instead, I spent more than eight hours sitting on the side of the highway while strangers worked around the final moments of someone else's life. I never met her. I don't know her name. But somehow, she changed mine. This episode is about what happens when life reaches into your chest, cracks it open and reminds you, without asking permission, what actually matters. This conversation is about love. Grief. Family. The illusion of control. The parts of ourselves that life slowly hardens, and the quiet yet wild ways they sometimes come back home. I thought I was driving home that night.
