It was "Diverse" Patriots that save America in December of 1776

Send us Fan MailHistorians are a dime a dozen, and they’ve got opinions just like everyone else.  Reading facts, then interpreting them lends to cloudy accounts, thus the truth be told often ain't the truth at all. Yes indeed, there are many accounts of battles that are said to have saved America during her fight to not only gain, but to hold on to her liberty.  George Washington was without question the man!  His leadership (under God's providence) is certainly the foundation from which all matters launched from.  Successes and failures were on his and he alone owned them. But on the night of 25 December 1776, when all else would be lost if not successful, it was due to a group of diverse men (The Marbleheaders) was got Washington and his men across the river on the night of 25 December 1776.
