To Hear Me Tell It

Travel back in times with Jerry Daniels, as he shares his stories (To Hear Him Tell It), of being raised in Butler GA as the son of a small town Grocery Man. He up and runs off to enlist in the Navy, where he serves some 26 years before moving back to America with his wife of 35 years and children. Jerry flavors his stories with a bit of Lewis Grizzard and Jeff Foxworthy, but tell his stories in such a way that will make you have flashbacks and leave you laughing and shaking your head.

Seriously,....by the back of my head?

Send us Fan MailAt my age, it's now become weddings and funerals.  I miss our class reunion on account I had to go to a wedding, therefore I wasn't able to see how everyone has changed.  But recently I attended a death visitation at the "Fellowship Hall" at the Butler Baptist Church.  Yes, I know they changed the name years ago to the "First Baptist Church of Butler, but I don't care much about the name, and I'm pretty sure God doesn't either.Anyway, I was blessed with the opportunity to go down to Butler and pay my respects to the Smith family with the passing away of their Mama.  And while there I saw a bunch of folks I haven't seen in years.  Some I knew right  away, and some I had no idea who they were.  But get this,...one fella comes up to me and says, "Jerry Daniels, I knew it was you by the back of your head."  Seriously, decades pass, and this guy remembers what the back of my head looks like.  Not sure how to take that, but hell it seems to work for him.  Now forever more I will always remember, somebody recognized me by the back of my dang head.  Go figure!

I want my money back, and these criminals locked up!

Send us Fan MailEnough is enough.  We the taxpayers have been and are being robbed daily by thousands of immigrants in States like, Minnesota, California, Ohio, Maine, New York, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Oregon.  And yes, the vast majority of these criminals are directly tied to an international crime ring.  A crime ring that has embedded itself into different levels of Federal, State, and City governments.  These criminals are "mules", mostly illegal immigrants, who were purposely imported into America by the same politicians that are banking millions of dollars and paid to provide cover for the operations.Folks we're talking in sums totally over 79 Billion dollars (and that a conservative figure) has been stolen, and we have elected government officials deeply embedded into these acts of complete theft! Here's where I am:  I want my money back, and I demand to see these criminals charged, arrested, tried and put away for life.  If this much money can go missing and no one seems to know,....we don't need to be paying taxes at all.

How does one get rid of an Earworm?

Send us Fan MailYep,....we've all had them.  Some more than others.  Those damn nagging "Earworms" that just won't go away.  Until recently, I never knew they were called Earworms.  But now realizing just what they are, I can see why I get them on account of how I have my workspace set up in my garage.Yes sir, you too have Earworms.  Hell, you may have one right now but just didn't realize how you got it, much less how to get rid of it.Listen to this episode, and learn what an Earworm is, how you got it, and how to go about making it go away.

    Farewell Robert Duvall

Send us Fan MailWe lost a great one this week.  Robert Duvall (Gus, the Great Santini,) was a true America Icon when it came to acting.  The son of a US Navy Admiral. But what a joy and blessing to have lived and seen 95 years.  No children, as Robert was quoting to have said; "hell I guess I just shoot blanks."His movie list is long, and the level of personal integrity shaped a many of men who crossed his path.

They're Paid (Employed) Contracted Social Mercenaries, not Protestors

Send us Fan MailMinnesota is lost.  The citizens of the state of Minnesota have been abandoned by their elected officials.  They no longer have a trustworthy reliable public safety agency.  They no longer have City or State Law Enforcement to enforce Law & Order.  There is no longer an existing Democratic system that is remotely protected by any Justice system whatsoever.  The Mayor of Minneapolis, the POS Governor and AG are all paid pawns of an international crime ring set out on destroying America.  Yes, Minnesota is all but lost. When a time has come where “mob-rule” is the Law, e.g. setting up unlaw check-points in the streets and roadways to screen and inspect who is coming and going,…..this is the true light of utter and complete failure of the elected officials in that state. My question is:  who amongst the citizens of Minnesota has the courage to do what is right and just to protect the Liberty and Freedoms of your fellow Americans?  Is there no remaining “Statemen” remaining in the great white north?  What’s wrong with you people.

How I met my Mrs. Laura,....this one if for you Kristi

Send us Fan MailLike most fishing stories, a tale can change and turn into something bigger, shorter, longer, or pretty much end up being something totally different than version number 1 told some 40 years ago. That said, my dear friend Kristi Dunn Barrow has asked that I share how I can to meet and marry my lovely bride, Mrs. Laura Marie.  So with that said, this one if for you Kristi.I am convinced that God Himself had a hand in the whole affair.  There's just too many ironies and unique circumstances to be otherwise.  Often times folks say; "what are to odds" after I share the details of how we met.

Wreaths Across America (WAA), thanks to Joe

Send us Fan MailJoe Stika inspired me to read up on the great honorable work done each year by the Organization "Wreaths Across America" (WAA).  Back in Mid-December 2025, he was visiting the National Veterans Cemetery in Canton GA to lay honor to his wife's parent(s) buried there.  Joe was inclined to share how he felt, and a few snapshots he took while there. His visit motivated me to read up on this organization, and to make arrangements for myself to be buried here when that day comes. Thanks Joe, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year sir, and stay safe.

What the heck is Chicken Gleet?

Send us Fan MailWhat the heck is Chicken Gleet?  Now when things were rocking and rolling with the chickens, now I have two girls with nasty jacked up booty holes a.k.a. vents.  And some other chicken is pecking their butts making it bleed. Where's Rodney King?  Can't they all just get along? If this doesn't get under control,.....somebody is taking a ride to the Train Station.

    Liberals will never learn

Send us Fan MailLiberals, especially those suffering from TDS, will never learn a darn thing.  They keep doing the same stupid crap over and over and over again. They're now using the word "Affordability" like they invited it or something.  And the new "oh my gosh, Trump killed some idiot drug smuggling terrorist warloards trying to sell their poison to the US, when our awesome military blow up a boat transporting poison.  But the first missile didn't completely destroy the boat, so they hit it again, but the so-called survivors with swimming nearby the burning hull, thus were not afforded the opportunity to be rescued. Yep, this is the Distraction of the Week for the Democrats and Communist New Network gang.

  10. 165

Making it "Obtainable" doesn't mean it is necessarily "Affordable."

Send us Fan MailWe've heard them all before, or a least our generation has heard it.  "Save for rainy days, if you have to borrow money to buy it, you can't afford it, if you have to ask how much is it, you can't afford it, money don't grow on trees, and live below your means."  Yes sir, these and other snippets were all taught to us about managing finances and building a base in which to build upon.Affordability is the big buzz word today, and the Liberals love using it to create further divide in Social Class Warfare.  The Liberals use "unaffordable" as the poor me victim card, in order to get votes by promising things to be more obtainable, e.g. housing, transportation fares, food, healthcare, etc.Buying a home can be great, but getting into a home that a person cannot "afford" it is a completely different matter.

Hot Flashes will pass in time

Send us Fan MailApparently my lovely wife Mrs. Laura has cornered the market, and too is a renounced expert on the subject of Hot Flashes.Which is worse;  asking a woman if she's having some of them "Ladies Days" emotions, or might she be having a Hot Flash?  No matter, it's gonna be a lose lose situation.According to Mrs. Laura, it feels like she's being cooked from the inside out, and no matter how much A/C or cold air is poured on it, that's not the solution, but turning around and heading back home to change clothes is.

Farewell Dear Nancy,....you will be missed

Send us Fan MailChanged it up a bit today.  I am blessed to be of the Butler 70's gang.  In the early years of the 70's our life centered around ten blocks: Edgewood Dr., Pine and Forest Ave.  Willow, Meadowdale and Marshall Streets.  We weren't the Sandlot Kids,..but we were the Sandspur Kids.  We were the TCHS Class of 1980.  Our childhood, our days of adolescence, becoming teenagers, finding ourselves and learning lessons along became our building blocks.  Building lifelong friendships and unknowingly planting memories in places where others will never look.   Enlisting in the US Navy in 1980, I left Butler to explore the world and make a life of my own: however, the memories of growing up in our little neighborhood are forever etched in a place I call home.  The little pink playhouse, her way too cool decorated bedroom, her mother's laugh, her father's patience, the smell of pine needles when walking through her yard, and even that large white bulldog that pinned her and Kristy on the steps that day, are found memories that make me smile today.  Nancy was the very first girl I ever kissed,..I didn't know my mouth could get that dry, nor that my heart could beat that fast.  I recall running home thinking, "how will I ever face her again?"   These are things that can taunt a 12-year-old boy. My hours spent with Nancy and Kristy were indeed some of the very best days of my childhood.  Looking back, I thank God we didn't have the technology of today.  Hours spent lying on a trampoline, just talking and looking at clouds.  The hundreds of miles we walked within that ten-block radius built friendships where we learned trust, betrayal and how to make up.  Nancy had a sense of calm and peace about her that others lacked.  My memories are dated, in comparison short-lived stopping in the summer of 1980.  May our Lord and God, our Heavenly Father grant her forever eternal peace.Be sure to view the Podcast.

Death and Taxes,......and freakin' Insurance Premiums are truly certain!

Send us Fan MailThey say two things in life are certain,…….Death and Taxes.  Well, there is also another thing that is certain, and that’s Insurance Premiums.  Yes sir, Health, Vision, Dental, Car, House, Health, Boat, Camper, Business Liability, Worker’s Compensation, General Liability, etc.  All of these apply.  That is unless you’re an illegal alien or a Government Dependent sucking on the Welfare Subsidy Titt.Once again, our Property Taxes went up, as too are our Auto and Home Insurance premiums.  What happened to the Georgia Tote Reform Act?  I am beyond tired of being taxed and insurance companies beat down.  When does it ever stop?  But who doesn’t ever worry about such?  Those who have no skin in the game.  The freeloaders, the illegal aliens, and the Government Subsidy Ticks and Leeches.  They don’t pay taxes like the working folks, they don’t worry about insurance, because they just flood and crowd the Emergency Rooms with BS illnesses, because they’ve learned that’s how they get free healthcare.  I’m beginning to believe that their sound be two types of Emergency Rooms:  Those who can pay, and those who won’t pay.

Reba had no ass, but lots of ammo

Send us Fan MailWhen a good close friend sends a text message that only says: "The basement scene in Tremors is a compliment to you and Laura."  Well, that's enough for me to chase the rabbit no matter the hole.  Yes sir, that was all we needed for me and Laura to begin asking questions of our friend who sent this message. Starting with, "what the heck are you talking about?"  Long story short, it ended with, "I can't begin you two have never watched the 1990's original Tremors movie starring the famous Mrs. Reba McEntire, Fred Ward, Michael Gross and Kevin Bacon to name a few.  Our good friend Mrs. Holly says,......just watch it, and know that when it gets to the basement scene this is a credit and compliment to you and Laura. Well we rented the movie via Amazon Prime, and watched it from start to finish, and when it came to the basement scene, we fully got it.  And she (Mrs. Holly) was indeed accurate in her assessment and characterization.  But, here are my takeaways of the movie: S.S. Wilson and Brent Maddock (the writers) sold the script for only $350,000The movie grossed some $17 million, with a budget of $10 millionReba was 35 years old when the movie was released in January 1990, and Kevin Bacon was 32 years oldThe story was beyond ridiculous, the acting was poor, and the props were terrible, but hey, it was the 90'sReba had no ass but had lots of ammo!In the 90's, one could operate a base CB Radio with no power cord.Lastly,.......that was 96 minutes of my life I will never get back.

First time to witness: A phone and a Brush

Send us Fan MailWe were blessed by God with some really awesome weather while on our get away to Perdido Key FL.  Took the bikes and one of my Drones. We biked for miles each day.  We sat on the beach each morning and evening to embrace God's creation.  Was able to meet good friends for dinner.  Got some really cool video footage (be sure to check out our Facebook business page "Aptera Drone Imaging.  But I must confess;  I witnessed something I'd never seen first hand before.  I felt sorry for her.  I and my wife prayed for her.  To be so young, and consumed with "self."  It was one of the saddest things I'd ever witnessed.  I pray that she grows out of this behavior.Be sure to check out our YouTube Channel to see what I'm talking about.

Damn these Joro Spiders,.....thanks again to Asia.

Send us Fan MailI can deal with a lot of things, snakes, angry roosters, crazy wild eyed bar fighting women, and a bad haircut,.....but I cannot deal with Spiders. Thanks again to Asia for giving North America yet another pest to deal with, we have the Joro Spiders, most commonly mispronounced as "Juno Spiders."  Yep, we have the Asians to thank for these invasive spiders, and they're going in huge population numbers with each passing year.Like the Varroa Destructor Mites that kill honeybees, which came from Asia, we are blessed too by the gift of the Joro Spiders.I "HATE" it when I walk into a web, because in my mind all I can see is this massive spider the size of my hand is on me and is about to such my brains out.

Don't eat pumpkin pie just before bed

Send us Fan MailWe've all heard it before:  "don't eat chocolate before bed" on account you can make you have weird dreams.  Well based on my dream last night, one need add Pumpkin Pie with miracle whip to the list of what not to eat before bedtime.Yes sir, and for the record I had the absolute craziest dream EVER!  I'm talking seriously super turbo-charged weird.  I shared it with Mrs. Laura this morning, and she said; "do not tell people that."Well, you know me, I just ain't capable of holding this one in.

I have little success when it comes to selecting Contractors

Send us Fan MailI have the worse history when it comes to me selecting Contractors to do projects I either can't or don't want to do.  No matter the project, tree removal, roofing, electrical, yard work, interior painting, bathroom remodel, I pick the worse of the worse.Projects should not be "painful."  What happen to the days of craftsman who work at a good pace, and quality of job one?  Where did those days go?  Everyone seems to be out to make a killin' vice making a living.

  19. 156

    Shame on you Harold!

Send us Fan MailHarold Ford Jr. (in my humble opinion) made a complete ass of himself on national TV.  It doesn't take a scholar to make the commonsense observation that he struggles to run cover and do the blocking for the DNC.  More so now than ever, he's got flat-footed in having to either address and respond to the insanity of "his" political party.  But all that said, Harold couldn’t restrain himself this week, and his response to the President signing an EO placing the evil Antifa group on the Domestic Terrorist Group list.  So when Greg brings it up, Harold's response was, (not quoting him), that's good but then we need to add the KKK to that lists as well. I AM NOT a fan of the KKK, nor do I agree with or support any group that advocates ethnic superiority or racial bias, such as the KKK, Black Panthers, BLM, Antifa or Islam. So, my question to Harold is:  when was the last time "you" witnessed the KKK staging a large mass riot?  When was the last time "you" witnessed the KKK burning city blocks, attacking Law Enforcement Officers, burning police cars, taking over Federal Buildings, or College campuses, or buildings?   Shame on you Harold for not being able to hide your racial bias.

Chicken Saddles,....who would have ever thought!

Send us Fan MailI can assure you that when me and my boyhood buddies were growing up in Taylor County, not a damn one of us ever had the thought that when we became old men we'd find ourselves on hands and knees trying to put a "Chicken Saddle" on the back of a dang chicken.Life has a funny way of turning out.  Pulling weeds, cleaning gutters, pruning flowers, or the real possibility of back saddles on a freakin' chicken.  Life can be funny and throw curveballs I never saw coming.I honestly believe it would be easier trying to stuff a rusted thumbtack up a wounded bobcat's ass than trying to put a saddle on a chicken.

Has the breaking point now been reached?

Send us Fan MailThe question many have been asking for years is: when will the breaking point be reached? At what point with Christian Conservatives say, "enough is enough?"I believe Charlie saw this day coming years ago.  I believe he walked away from the corrupt college systems (seeing that they were nothing more than breeding grounds to poison the minds via the Professor Indoctrination programs.Charlie was certainly a threat, but a threat to what?  Charlie was a messenger of truth, and he spoke directly to tomorrow's leaders, the youth in American and particularly those attending colleges.  Charlie was a threat to the Democrats, the Liberals, the Major News outlets, the Perverted LGBQT Wackos, the Pro-Abortion Murderers, and the nation of Islam.Charlie was a man of faith in God, Country and Family.  He was assassinated to shut him up from spreading the truth.  That our US Constitution was never meant to govern an unjust immoral unchristian people.Remember Charlie and everything he stood and died for.  Don his armor and continue to spread his message of truth.May God reveal our strengths and courage, and grant us favor going forward.

Mama used a fork for everything

Send us Fan MailMama was gifted and skilled in the kitchen.  I regret not watching her more in my early years of growing up.  The meals she could cook, the cakes and pies she could bake, and the manner in which she went about the tasks stick with me today.  Looking back now I see where I picked up a many of her cooking habits (techniques) in the kitchen.Mama didn’t need a lot of fancy tools; she just needed a good ole’ fashion dinner fork.  Not a three-tine (prong) fork, the regular kind what has four prongs.  A folk with a beasty handle.  She did everything with a fork.  She whipped, mashed, stirred, turned, flipped, and agitated everything in a pan or pot with a fork. She mastered the art of frying bacon with a fork.  She didn’t use tongs for such, she just needed that good ole’ fashion fork. There’s a lot to be said with learning to keep in simple, and using a fork in the kitchen is a good place to start.

Crackle Barrel's CEO,.......that ole' girl is Hank Johnson stupid

Send us Fan MailLittle Ms. Julie Felss Masino, the somewhat new CEO of Crackle Barrel has publicly lowered herself down to the Hank Johnson stupid level.  Yes sir, she had plenty of warnings and advisements of caution from the Investors, one in particular, Mr. Sardar Jiglari who told her as far back as May 2024: “Cracker Barrel is not a broken brand, but it has a broken board.”  He also shared that rebranding Crackle Barrel was an: “obvious folly.”But nope, little Ms. Julie, surrounded by her Woke Team, one of which was her newly hired Chief of Marketing Officer Ms. Sarah Moore from MGM Resorts International, released the annual report (dated September 2024) that they now have a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion section, featuring it’s seven Business Resource Groups for promoting “diverse members,” Black leaders, “Hispanic and Latino culture,” “LGBTQ+ Awareness,” military veterans and women leaders. You can’t make this up!  With all the history we have, little Ms. Julie thought she was not only morally superior, but the smartest person in the room.  Despite the words of caution, she pressed on and wasted hundreds of millions of dollars to rebrand a highly successful business that was perfectly fine.  However, Crackle Barrel didn’t set well with the Woke crowd.  It was too old fashion, to Southern, too White, and according to the idiots she listened to, wasn’t appealing to the minority Woke folks.  In other words, she wanted to change or erase a part of American culture via her Woke agenda. So Ms. Julie,……how’s it working out for you now?

"No Sir, I don't need the whole transmission, just the drive pulley"

Send us Fan MailI purchased this 22" Toro High Wheel Recycle pusher (self propelled) mower from Home Depot back in 2018, thus I've had it for some seven plus years now.  I have replaced numerous parts on it, and I've kept it well maintained throughout its life. Hell, for an extra $50, I purchased the extended warranty plan (which I never used).I can't imagine how many hours of use is on this mower.  I have replaced blades, plugs, air filters, drive cables, the entire rear under-deck shroud, and several of the rear drag guards.  But now the pulley mounted atop the transmission gear box has worn down so bad, it needs to be replaced. But nope, they don't just sell the gear box pulley, they on sell the entire transmission gear box.  What a bunch of bull crap that is.

Is it really possible to smell a Bream Bed?

Send us Fan MailIs it really possible to smell a Bream Bed?First of all, I didn't know that that "Bream" is the correct spelling.  I always thought it was Brim and not Bream.  Goes to show what I don't know, which is quite a lot.According to Nick Giles, Jimmy (James-T) Smith got a scent of a Bream Bed while tracking across Lake George one day.  A trip with Daddy, Nick and Mr. Jimmy that I wished I would have been on.  Anyway, Nick says, James-T hallowed to stop the boat, and turn around and backtrack a bit.  Told Nick to take the helm and go real slow.  And while doing so, Mr. Jimmy stood up on the bow and was cupping his hands of air just above the water's surface, then gave to the order to stop and drop anchor.  He said, fella's right here is a Bream Bed.Great story by Nick and I sure wish I could have been with them.

Who the heck is Sydney Sweeney

Send us Fan MailThe Woke Liberals cease to amaze me.  Let me open with:  I had no idea who the heck Sydney Sweeney was until she became the newest Woke Target of the national Libtard gang.  I'd never heard of her, and honestly don't care.  Also, I confess that I wasn't aware of a bluejeaned brand called American Eagle.  Again, I don't care. Levi's, Wranglers, Carhart, and Dickies is pretty much all I know and want to know. But the Woke Libtard (f-ing up once again) thought it to be smart to publicly attack this ad, the girl and the company, hoping that it would have similar results as was with Bud Light and that gay perverted skinny dude that likes wearing girls clothing.  And again, it has bit them in the butt. All I can say is:  I'm happy to see sexy women with ta ta's back in fashion.

I wish I could share a Tomato Sandwich with Daddy

Send us Fan MailI sure love fat fresh homegrown Tomato Sandwiches.  But more so, I wish I could share a Tomato Sandwich with Daddy.  Daddy passed way too early in life.  He never had the opportunity to see me as an adult while not in the Navy.  He never saw me as a Granddaddy, a Beekeeper, a Chicken Farmer, nor see me in my garden.  And I sincerely regret that.  Daddy loved good fresh hearty tomatoes, and he most certainly loved good ole' fashion tomato sandwiches.  What I would do just to spend a few hours with Daddy, and I'd love to share a tomato sandwich with him today.

Ty Cobb, the Georgia Peach from Narrows GA

Send us Fan MailI never knew there was a Ty Cobb museum located in Royston GA.  Stubbled upon this fact while researching an item for sale on Facebook Marketplace.  This prompted me to do a quick research about Ty Cobb, and boy did I learn a great deal about this MLB Baseball Legend.  I do recall he was called the Georgia Peach, but that's pretty much all I knew about the man. What an amazing life.  An American Icon he was.

Write Notes in your Year Book (Annual) while you still know who's who

Send us Fan MailTime has a funny way of changing things.  Our Taylor County GA Class of 1980 lost a good friend this week, which prompted me to go looking at my Senior Year Book.  Lot's of folks call it the "Annual."My oh my how we've all changed. And that prompted me to start making notes for not only me as I get older, but in the slight unlikely event that my children or grandchildren may find themselves fanning the pages.  And if there ain't no notes of those candid snapshots, they may not recognize ole' JD in his prime. That said, make notes in your Annual/Year Book, cause somebody is gonna say; "who the hell is that?"

LEO Bodycams are exposing the truths of a culture in decay

Send us Fan MailThe laws of unintended consequences, or the opposite and equal reactions to actions have utterly unfolded right before our very eyes.  Over the past decade of the Liberals screaming to have bodycams on all Law Enforcement Officers are having the very opposite effect.  Rather than documenting what the Democrats have for years be telling the citizens, thus in an attempt to prove that Law Enforcement Officers are racially targeting a particular ethnic group, the cameras are having the very opposite effect, as the millions of hours of video footage now shows that we have a culture in our nation that is truly the problem, therefore it's not our brave Law Enforcement Officers.  We've been lectured and preached to that the "proof is in the pudding."  Well, no actually the proof is in the "taste of the pudding."  Yep, the bodycams are showing the truths. The problem still remains,.....how and who can fix this social uncivilized disfunction?  The insanity has to stop.  It has literally become hazardous to visit large public gatherings.

Send us Fan MailLot's covered this episide:- Birds and the Bees (sad I must get out of the bee business)- Monday morning Quarterbacks about the Iran bombing of Nuc Sites- Karmelo Anthony's "Spokesperson" is a real gem of a pick and a true ethical standup person,......look it up.- MamDani is the spoils of lost sheep in New York City-  Dropped the $200 tax, but still required to register an SBR and Suppressor.  When does the insanity stop?

Notice how the story of the Minnesota Law Maker Murders quickly went away.

Send us Fan MailI've said ten times, and I'll say it ten more times,....."listen to what you don't hear, and look for what you're not seeing. The story of those murders and shootings of them Minnesota Representatives dropped away like a used condom being tossed off the bridge in Naples Italy.  Yes sir, the Main Stream Media moved on quickly, and there's nothing else really being said about the Murderer, his past, and that list of others he intended to kill.  The question should be asked, why is that?  This whole affair lead me to learn more about Debbie Dingell,.....wow, what a read.  Her worth and her life story is telling of a typical spoiled brat born on third base and been told she hit a triple.  At 28 years old she up and marries a 54 year old Congressman, who just happens to have his finger on the Auto Maker's Policy pulse.  Politics can make opossum sick.  These people have no morals.

Rioting, Looting, and throwing bricks at the Law ain't no damn Protesting

Send us Fan MailPeaceful protesting my ass!  Rioting, looting, and throwing bricks at the Law ain't no damn protesting.  Burning the American flag ain't protesting protected by the 1st Amendment.  Whoever started that crap was a moron.Blocking "any" public walkway, travelway, sidewalk, public transportation, driveway, county road, city street, state or federal highway IS NOT protesting!  It's damn destructive obstruction and is meant to agitate and piss folks off.  All these folks doing this crap are pure 100% anarchist brats (young and old).  They're loser and don't have jobs. This NOT what our Founding Fathers had in mind.

That equals 1.1 Million per child, that's our money

Send us Fan MailDOGE continues to expose fraud, waste and downright criminal abuse.  Yep, DOGE exposed a Contract between the US Dept. of Interior and a Vendor named Family Endeavors, Inc.  Go do your research.  And the money was flowing under the cloak of the Office of Refugee Resettlement Influx Care Facility.  Influx Care Facility (ICF) for up to 3,000 unaccompanied alien children (UAC). The contract provided facilities and full wraparound child care and case management services.  That equates to 1.3 million per child.Go see what the top four people get paid a year for this job.  The CEO is a retired US Air Force Colonel, imagine that.DOGE cut 2.9 Billion from the 3.3 Billion dollar contract.  Smells like a scam to me

Bicyclist by the tons came to Jasper GA

Send us Fan MailUntil last week, I'd never heard of BRAG, which stands for "Bicycle Ride Across Georgia."  Yep, there is a mess of folks from other states and other countries that partake in riding these super experience high-dollar bicycles about the nation.  So, BRAG does a great deal of preplanning well in advance, and our little place in the North Georgia Mountains was honored to host one of their overnight stays as they made their way across our great state of Georgia. Was indeed a good time, as I volunteered to drive the local shuttle bus to take a many of these folks to various local retailers, restaurants, and lodging.  That said, hundreds of them bed down in tents at one of our local city parks.  Be sure to check out the webpage for Aptera Drone Imaging (www.apteradrones.com).

Send us Fan MailThe Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is proving their value, as they're bringing the receipts to the table. Thus far, it is estimated that DOGE has found an estimated $175,000,000,000.00, that's $175 Billion dollars (combination of asset sales, contract/lease cancellations and renegotiations, fraud and improper payment deletion, grant cancellations, interest savings, programmatic changes, regulatory savings, and workforce reductions. As my good friend Tom Edmondson would say: "that's a lot of cabbage."And like I said it this episode;  we should be asking the question(s); why aren't the Democrats getting behind this?  Why are so many Democrats silent?  What are so many Politicians angry that DOGE is exposing vast waste, fraud, and abuse to levels of felony criminality?

Where did Memorial Day come from

Send us Fan MailMemorial Day was actually referred to as:  "Decoration Day" before being declared Memorial Day.  Decoration as on account it began as a day to honor the dead soldiers by strewing beautiful spring flowers on their graves. There is a rich history on this tradition.  It really stems back to 1864, then will founded in 1866-1868, and so on.Bottom line is:  Memorial Day is not Veterans Day, nor is it Armed Forces Day.  This is a day set aside to honor those Veterans who are deceased. Oh,....and FYI I failed to mention.  The Doc never asked to see my CPAP Machine.

  38. 137

Do "not" ask to see my CPAP Machine!

Send us Fan MailThey say the definition of insanity is to continue to do the exact same thing with expectations of a different result or outcome.Well for years now, every time I go see the pulmonary (Sleep Study) Doctor, I am instructed to bring in my CPAP Machine.  It's a pain in the ass to pack up, and not once, freakin' never has anyone every looked at it.So today, I'm going rogue and being a renegade.  I am NOT bringing it in today, and let's see what happens.

The things I do when my Mrs. Laura is away

Send us Fan MailThe title will lead you to believe this is a funny episode about me slacking off and doing stupid stuff when Laura ain't here.  Other than watching late night TV, and leaving dirty socks on the floor for a few days, that's about it.But what I do take advantage of when she's gone, I watch movies that she would never dare watch.  Which leads me to the topic of this episode.  During these past two weeks, I watched a Netflix miniseries called American Primeval.  Which was pretty tough to watch.  The movie is set in 1857 and focuses on the Utah Mormon wars and the roll Brigham Young had in all this.So this episode is how I went to do a little reading about the Mormon church and where this religion stems from. History is indeed interesting.

    Things that make me gag

Send us Fan MailNo matter how old I get, I ain't eating no dang celery.  Why you ask?  On account the texture makes me gag.  A hair in my food also makes me gag.  And when I eat a green bean, and it has that short piece of the stem on the bean pod, I will gag.  That said, our (my) taste of food has changed considerably as I have aged.  Many years ago I would not touch; strawberries, onions, mushrooms, cucumber, or tomatoes.  No way in hell would I eat those things, but today I love em'.

  41. 134

No I do not have to accept "Diversity"

Send us Fan MailSince when is sick twisted perversion put into the same category as Diversity?  Years ago, diversity was gender, race, and religion, but now it's body shape, hair color, 1,000 plus facial tattoos, face art jewelry, huge fake eye lashes, grossly long nails, stupid dress, sexual perversions, cross dressers, etc.Nope, I do not have to accept sick twisted perversions as part of "Diversity."  Evil is evil, wrong it wrong, pure and simpleGet these sick perverted people out of our school systems and away from children.

  42. 133

Why am I schooling the Doctor about Thyroid matters?

Send us Fan MailWhy is it that I find myself having to educate my Doctor on the functionality of the human Thyroid Gland, the T3 and T4 hormones, and how it all relates and works together. And, we can't park a van to sale in the Kroger Parking Lot, but Panhandlers seem to get a pass.

  43. 132

Can someone tell me why Gluten Free foods are so damn expensive?

Send us Fan MailI'm most likely behind the power curve to start eating better, a.k.a. healthier.  Bob Daniels would have said, "hell boy you done lived 3/4 of your life, why start now?  Truth is; that's makes a great deal of sense. But, I'm really trying to eat better to sustain a much healthier and more active lifestyle.  Therefore, my wife and I have been making slow subtle changes of our dietary intake.  We don't drink whole milk anymore, and we're really cutting back on sweets.  And being that my Thyroid checked out years ago, I struggle to keep the fat off, hence I'm looking to go "Gluten Free" on the breads, cereals, and pasta.I'm shocked (sticker price shock) of how expensive this stuff is.  A small loaf of gluten free break is over eight damn dollars.  That's insane.  No darn wonder people don't eat healthy.

Apparently beating toy cars with a hammer is the latest fashion

Send us Fan MailJust when I begin believing that the Liberals can't prove that they are actually more stupid than I previously thought,.....they make a liar out of me.Nope, we can't make this stuff up.  We now have grown-ass adults screaming and beating toy cars in public.  And if approached, they explode but can't articulate why they're doing what they're doing.  These people are truly mentally dysfunctional.  They should not have access to firearms or children.  And too, they don't appear to have a job.  Good news is:  Tesla's stock in going up.  Liberals who bought Tesla's are now seeing how twisted the Liberal Democratic Party is, and the Law is coming for the leaders of the BS.

Don't eat a mess of fresh donuts before a National BBQ Competition

Send us Fan MailLesson Learned:  have enough money to pay the toll both ways when traveling across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel,Follow the money, and get to know all about the so-called Judge who believes he has the authority to tell the President of the US what he will and will not do when it comes to protecting our National Security,Tort Reform (SB68) is in great need for all Georgians, and Whatever you do, if in the unlikely event you should be called upon to serve as an Ambassador for a Judge during a National BBQ Competition,.....don't partake in the free donuts they lay out.

  46. 129

Spring is in the air, and Trump is nailing it!

Send us Fan MailWhat better way to welcome in Spring, that our newly elected US President is actually doing what he said he was going to do.  We've elected a President that will not seek another term.  He has nothing to gain.  Yet, already the pundits are screaming about the market and a possible recession.  Well, those same pundits haven't the wisdom nor the guts to ride out the storm. Their cowards to cross the rocking waves to get to a better shoreline.DOGE is exposing where Billions upon Billions of the tax dollars which have been subject to Politicians stealing it for decades.  Social Security was NEVER in threat of running out of funds,......the Liberals and Criminals have been stealing it.Clean house Mr. President, ....... clean house.  Full Speed Ahead.

  47. 128

Thyroid Gland: Why didn't we get two of them?

Send us Fan MailWhy do we only have one Thyroid Gland?  Why didn't God give us two, like He did with lungs and kidneys?  We have two eyes, ears, nostrils, arms, hands, legs, testicles, ovaries, lungs and kidneys, but only one brain, heart, liver, pecker and the dang thyroid glad.  I digress.Anyway, I need to learn how to fix my Thyroid Gland which for years now has been on strike.  And it appears transplant ain't the option.

Moving back to Wednesdays and Trump and Vance sent sweater boy packing

Send us Fan MailYes folks, I'm moving the Podcast back to Wednesdays.  This Saturday thing ain't working out.  Especially now that I am fully retired.Short note:  President Trump and Vice President Vance sent little Sweater-Boy packing.  Basically kicked his butt our of the White and told him not to come back until he gets his head on straight and changes his BS attitude.  President should have added the condition that the boy wear a suit if and when he comes back.

  49. 126

Might chickens be in my tea leaves?

Send us Fan MailFinally, slowly recovering from a bad case of the flu, which resulted in bronchitis.  My voice is just coming back.  Laura has been blessed to not hear me talk for days now.I'm thinking of getting me some chickens to learn how to keep them, and of course have hopes to get us some fresh eggs.  Mrs. Laura has laid down the terms, which I think I can abide by.  We'll see.

Who is little Dr. Annie, and where does the money come from?

Send us Fan MailIt is truly amazing at the ties so much of the hidden corrupt Liberal fraud groups have to USAID.  Yes sir, little Annie is but another leech who's lived off the tit of abusive scams of US Tax Payer's money. Our new duly elected Representatives are working overtime to expose the years of fraud.  Notice that it's only the Liberal Democrat criminals who are crying that they and their scams are being exposed.Clean House Mr. President!  Full Speed Ahead, and expose them all.
