It was great leaders that changed my life

Send us Fan MailCall what you may, but I believe God puts us in positions to cross paths with great leaders.  People who have the ability to alter our paths.  To impact us in ways that can change our lives forever.  I'm grateful for the many of folk who truly blessed me in such ways that looking back I now see just how much of an impact and influence they were on me.  Some were family while growing up, some were teachers in school, and for me most were men who's paths I crossed while in the US Navy.Leadership is many things to many people, but true effective leadership is tough and often times damn right intrusive.  Leadership isn't meant to be easy, and most effective leaders will confess to say, it is often time very lonely being the leader.  Gunner Bulick was said to me,... "be friendly, but don't be friends with the men under your charge."
