It's not if it's when. Hey guys, if you're like me, you've always had a desire to do more. And deep inside, you've known there's a way and a possibility for you to achieve your dreams, the lifestyle, and achieve the freedom you've always wanted. Because we have what it takes to get things done and learn from others and get the mindset to achieve the dreams we've always wanted.
Welcome to SB Warriors. Hey, what's up? It's me, Warriors Paul K here. And oh man, I'm a little bit fired up and driving, so I apologize for a little bit of the background noise.
But I had this thing and I caught myself and I was super pissed off about it. So I was in my conversation and I was like going, if I get this to work. And I was like, what am I saying? Like, how is it that I can say if for somebody who's been at this game for a while, moderate levels of says, not Uber-rich, you know, probably in the early stages of this podcast.
And so, you know, I am grinding. And so a lot of times you have these seeds of doubt that come with you. And it's hard to, you're stretching, you're trying to pull yourself outside the norm. And as much as I've done to help other people, now it's like I need to scale.
And a lot of times I know I'm afraid to scale. I doubt the ability to scale. I doubt the changes I'm making. But then I'm like, you know, I can't talk like that.
I have to be realistic. I have a belief. And the mindset to know that it isn't about that one thing. It's a totality of things.
It's a totality of being able to go, you know what? I understand that, yes, okay, let's accept everything. I accept that I get scared. I get uncertain.
I don't worry just about myself. I have kids. I have a family. And yeah, I doubt who doesn't.
But I've been doing this that I can look at things. I can look at sales phone. I can look at processes and understand like, look, there are certain things there are problem and there's certain things that they're not. And if it hears that here's the thing that I'm grasping and putting a hold of.
If I don't know it, there's two things that got to happen. One, I'm going to take the time to figure out or be able to get somebody to do it for me. And I'm trying to go more to be because I understand enough to understand the apart. So I was helping out this one business and I was talking to them at the venue.
And when I was talking to them, I could hear the seeds that doubt within their voice. And it was a little bit uncertain to you and I get it. When you've been at something for a while, it's hard to go. You know what?
I fully believe in this because you're getting it from everybody else. You're getting it from family members, loved ones who are righteously concerned for your well-being. And I get it. It's like, hey, you're not doing those crazy MLM things.
You know, those don't work. Last time you lost 2,000 dollars. That was me, okay? My wife, I had done the...
I totally embarrassed about this. So I had gotten involved with a Bitcoin MLM that was... It was mining. Sorry about that.
It was mining Bitcoin. And Bitcoin was going to new highs. And I was like, whoo. I was like, oh my gosh, you got to check this out.
This is great. This is awesome. So I started telling other people about it. I'm super excited.
Very super excited. We're putting money in. And guess what? The owners pulled out and people are scamming the system.
And they shut down by the government. And I'm like, holy snap. I'm mortified. I'm embarrassed.
I'm embarrassed for myself, for my team, you know what? And I'm like, jeez. I totally made an asset myself. And it creates doubt.
Like, I have doubt. I thought I was in a great vehicle to win it. I was like, man, this is great. This is working.
And I was like, whoa, no, it's not. My wife was like, hey, how much do we lose? And of course, she's like, months later, she's like, hey, whatever happened with that thing. How much do we lose?
And I'm like... And I didn't log into the system for a while because they were supposing it would pay us back. So I go into logging the system and the system is completely shut down. And I can't even get access to it.
I am so embarrassed. I feel sorry for everybody I introduced the system to. And because I thought I found a vehicle and I believe what I was hearing, it made sense to me. And I realized, you know what?
I was trying to shortcut it. I was trying to put together something, a new opportunity, which is why people bought into it. Now I'm going, okay, I had something to learn here. Because the opportunity I'm in and been in is perfectly fine and capable of producing the income that I envisioned for myself, for my family.
But I lost belief. I lost faith and I lost my confidence. And if you're ever played in sports and you get rattled, maybe you fall on something, you're doing tricks on a bike or if you're in a one-on-one competition or maybe you do move, you get hurt or you get really stuck at it. If you're in your sport where you're getting scored on, maybe you trip fall on yourself, you know, you name it, you get rattled or you come across the field and someone knocks you block off and totally throws you off.
You get rattled and it messes with your confidence. Now, is that what happened to you? Is it based on truth? And a lot of times we have to examine what that is because the truth is, if you're similar to myself, like you generally want to help people.
That's what makes you excited about what you're doing. And it's like, no, talk to a few people, get their feedback about your idea. Talk to people who don't even know you. Talk to people who can be honest with you.
And get, you know, if you're doubting it, talk to those people because I've got to tell you, if you're, if you're ambition behind that desire is true, you're most likely have complete righteousness in believing that value, in that idea. And we have to push through because that belief is a huge, huge selling point. Not only to the individuals who are coming into your world, but also to the individuals who work with you, who work for you. They don't sense that passion that drive.
You're why? They're not going to buy into it either. People would rather work for a passion for something they believe in over just getting paid more money. It's not about getting paid more money.
I can attest to that personally and I've seen it. It's like, how do you create that movement, that vision, that drive? You do it by believing, going back to the fundamental principles of why you started. I started this group because I didn't want people to be like my family, where I struggled, cleaning toilets, mopping floors, shampooing hairs.
I worked my ass off to help my father, who I saw, and my mother work in a beauty salon. Took their money, took their savings in order to create a better opportunity for our family. I think everybody has that vision. You want to create a better opportunity for your family.
We can get a job, but what does that yield us? You're trading time for money, and there's nothing wrong with that. I think there are certain people that need to have a job. Then there's some people who, for whatever reason, they have this thing inside of them where they're content, but they're not satisfied.
There's a difference. I contend I make enough money. Again, like I've talked before, and I need to embroide this into my brain. The enemy of great is good.
Maybe you're just good enough. A lot of times depending on where you live, you're listening to this. If you live in your area and you're making enough income to provide for your family, you're able to put a little bit aside for savings, maybe have a decent car, all these things. You're comfortable.
We are so comfortable in this country. We are actually spoiled. I'm in the United States, but I'm not supposed to be in this other country. I believe we're spoiled.
When I sit down with my kids at night, and I say a quick prayer, I thank God for the simple things in my food, shelter, running water. It may sound serious like, oh, I'm not some religious guy. I believe. But I'm saying the small things, they all add up and they make a difference.
That belief, the thankfulness, the gratefulness, adds up your team, consent, your genuine passion because I don't want other people to suffer through mistakes that are avoidable. One of the things is a kid, and if you've ever gotten in trouble, you have two options of avoiding getting in trouble. One is you try to lie your way out of it, which that never works. Two, you hopefully had an older brother or a cousin and you're like, ooh, I saw what they did there.
I'm not doing that. And I was that kid. I saw my sister do stuff. I'm like, I don't want to do that.
I'm avoid that because she was older. I was the youngest. And I think a lot of times, if we can learn from the mistakes that other people had from our business. So that's why mentors are great.
That's why coaching is great. To get ourselves, get our mind back in the real reason we started the business. Remember that why? That why helps open up doors of opportunity?
Because if you find that right person, maybe you can't afford them. But I bet you, if you tell them your why, your story of what you're doing, and you see the value in that individual, and maybe they're like, oh man, that person's a $15 an hour person. But right now, you can only afford 12. Offer them the 12 with the ability for them to get the 15 and sell them on the vision of why you started that business.
For that $3 difference, that person can make a difference in your, if they're that strong or powerful. That person can make a difference in your business enough to make up the difference to where you can afford to pay for them. I know it sounds a little like, oh, it's just cliche. It's just like, oh, your mirror's smoking, making smoke up your butt.
No, I really believe that. And we need to stop limiting ourselves and the ability we can to influence our business. We all have that ability to influence our business in the right direction. And sometimes it's one customer at a time.
Sometimes it's one experience at a time. But if we lead forward in that belief, in the value that we give, it makes a difference. You'll be surprised. People will start to pass on your name.
People will start to pass on your business, your products, your services. And so you don't know the ripple effect of when you throw that rock in the pond. And the only way you're going to do it is if you start now, choose to believe that what you're doing has value. And it makes a difference in your world, in your community.
And if you don't believe that far, then you don't just take it in the four walls that you're in right now. If it's in your car, the difference you make in the people in your car, the people you make in your business. If you have employees, you're responsible for them and their families to put food on the table. You owe it to yourself as much to them to be able to create the atmosphere of belief of what they're doing is making a difference.
I see people who are like, oh, I'm selling this thing. And they're like, I don't see them. They're having a hard time with it. It's because the way you are framing it, you're framing what you're doing as you're taking people's money.
You're not taking people's money. You're actually providing a service that makes a difference. This service isn't being done over here. All of a sudden, now, bam, you're providing that service.
This isn't your service. Even if it's simple as a plumber. Like, honest, plumbers are needed. There could be a grandmother who is in need of a great plumber who's not going to rip them off.
So the same thing could be true for your business. You have to have the belief and the knowledge of what you're doing, the reason why you're doing it, and you can affect change. You'll be surprised at that. Keep pushing at it.
Don't give up. Don't lose faith. And when you do, find a way to re-energize it. Go back to the basics.
Write down in the journal what you're struggling with. And then write down why you started. Who is behind your why? And remember, you can do it.
