It's Time to Be Like the Shepherds

As we face 2024, we are called to be like the shepherds. When they heard the news about Jesus, they rushed to Bethlehem even after a long day of hard work. As we begin the new year, we are asked to not just stand around and wait for things to happen. The shepherds are telling us, "Just go, be hopeful, be positive, do not waver." We are called to see not just with our eyes, but with our hearts. For 2024, let us be like the shepherds and seek one another, seek God, and to proclaim the message. -New Year's Eve Homily by Fr.
