As we walk away from the idolatry of the cross, we must build within us again the desire to express our worship of God. Not only this, but what exactly is supposed to represent God’s work through Jesus upon the earth. Therefore, we must understand this in the context of whom and what Jesus really is. In this, we can better appreciate the devilish work of Satan exchanging the tree of life for dried, dead wood.  Jesus and His work is not a cross upon a wall, it is a tree of life given to all who will eat of it through obedient faith. In this study, I hope to walk us away from the idolatry of the cross in our hearts and mind, and arrive upon the solid ground resting under the tree of life that is Jesus.
