J.R. Orenstein Turned Down Hollywood to Sell Insurance // SLCP 206

I've known J.R. Orenstein for years, so it was a no-brainer that he'd be my first guest in the insurance industry. One of my favorite things about J.R. is his incredible social media presence. He produces some of the highest quality content of anybody in any industry I know, thanks in part to his brief but formative career in the film industry. While the insanely demanding hours of working in film proved to conflict with his aspirations of a stable family life, J.R was able to hone his remarkable media skills on the soundstages and backlots of Hollywood productions. He also knows a great deal about insurance, which is cool.
