Jacinta Beatty Interview - Adrianne Murphy 31/07/25

from Ros FM 94.6 · host ROS FM

A new pilgrim walk will be launched on Sunday, 3rd August. The walk will start promptly at 6.30am and pilgrims will walk from the Trinity Arts Centre in Castlerea to the Emlagh High Cross, which is a National Monument and historical landmark here in County Roscommon. This walk is 4.2km and there will be buses available at the site to take people back to the Arts Centre if you are unable to walk back. The site itself is regarded among archaeologists and academics as one of the most important pilgrim sites in the country and Adrianne is joined here by one of the organising committee, Jacinta Beatty to talk about the walk and the significance of it.
