Jack and The Rabbit

from The Secret Kindergarten | For Young Children · host Gino Volante

The Secret Kindergarten Radio Show for Young Children Ep. 43In this episode we explore the value of perseverance. Lazy Jack turns out to be not-so-lazy and although a little dim, he has bucket-loads of perseverance. Things turn out very well for Jack and his family thanks to only his perseverance. Forcing yourself, to do things that must be done, builds willpower. The rabbit playing in his “not-a-box” attracts a lengthy confrontation with a judgemental adult. With his perseverance and willpower the rabbit rides it out. He creates the term “not-a-box” to convince the adult that the box can be whatever the rabbit chooses to imagine. The Giant of St. Michael’s puts King Arthur’s willpower to the most extreme of its use. Violence, gore and death take the backseat in the eyes of the child…. they absorb the message of the story, the theme of the story…. in this case it is the heroism of striving to defeat evil for the greater good. The Secret Kindergarten wants young children to create the world, with their imagination, by force of their willpower. The Secret Kindergarten Radio Show for Young Children is live every Saturday 2.00pm-3.00pm Eastern Time on Revolution Radio (Studio A): https://www.revolution.radio/.https://thesecretkindergarten.com/MUSIC by Nancy Stewart of https://nancymusic.com/Everybody Has a Song to SingIn Our Solar SystemAUDIO STORIESRhys, Ernest & Grace. “Lazy Jack”.
