Born in Germany and now based in the Netherlands, he has lived and worked across different scenes and eras, shaping a sound rooted in experience rather than trend. His artistic home is Rotterdam, with a strong connection to the city’s underground and the legendary Perron. The name Pɑrlɑ derives from the Italian “parlare” meaning “to speak” — a fitting reference for an artist who prefers to let the music do the talking. Avoiding excessive narratives or self-description, Pɑrlɑ focuses on clarity, emotion, and intent within the sound itself. Musically independent and fluid, his work moves between Classic House and Indie Dance, balancing timeless structures with a modern, understated edge.
