Jake Purdy: Spring Ankle Device, Facility Design Considerations, & Performance Rehab

In this episode of the Braun Performance & Rehab Podcast, Dan is joined by Jake Purdy to discuss the Spring Ankle Device and other Stray Dog Strength Products, Facility Design Considerations and Jake's shoulder rehab. Jake is the Brand Manager for Stray Dog Strength, a Columbus, Ohio-based company specializing in custom and made-to-order sports performance equipment. In addition to his role at Stray Dog Strength, Jake serves as a high school lacrosse coach at Granville High School and provides sports performance training for the team. Over the past three years, Jake has been instrumental in developing over 100 products with SDS, including racks, rack attachments, and training machines. Since 2015, he has undergone three shoulder surgeries, including repairs to both labrums and a Latarjet procedure. These experiences have profoundly shaped his approach to training, a topic he delves into in this episode.
