Jam Night 02192008

Extra special four piece country (classics, of course) style jam night tonight. As usual, had a few little issues trying to play new songs but that's the whole point of jam night. We just pick something and give it a shot. If we like it, and it isn't completely horrible, you get to hear it. And we might just add it to our list of regulars if it came off really well. As someone new to actual notes when playing music (used to play drums up until a couple years ago, now playing bass) I find it interesting not to mention convenient when we have a theme running through a lot of the songs. Tonight the theme was G-C-D, or some variation of it. Not sure if you can tell just by listening but even the last song we talked Scotty into playing turned out, completely by chance, to be another G-C-D song. Go figure.
