Known for his honest storytelling and powerful vocals, his lyrics tell of love and queer resilience. Blending soulful vocals, piano and warm electronics, NIK NAVY is the solo project for Melbourne singer, producer and songwriter Nik Mitchell. Influenced by artists like James Blake, Gwilym Gold and SOHN, a love for bold and honest storytelling is at the forefront to produce his intimate and unique sound. Releasing a string of singles, leading to his debut EP Treading Water in 2019, NIK NAVY has been named by Pilerats as “one of (their) favourite newcomers to emerge over the last twelve months”.
