Jam Session: Tender Buttons

Tender Buttons joined the Local Roots team in the JOY 94.9 studios to play four of their tracks live for you. Tender Buttons are a 4-piece alternative dream-pop band from Footscray, Melbourne, bringing together dream-pop, shoegaze, and indie-pop influences. In 2016, Tender Buttons was born out of a collaboration between Jessicca Bennett (Love Shack Studios, Lash, Preytells), Rachel Sztanski (Reii) and Andrew Kluchareff (Lunars) on the dreamy surf-pop single ‘Southern Hemisphere.’ Following it’s positive reception and airplay on community radio, the trio commenced work on their forthcoming collaborative and self-produced E.P. The tracks were sent to be mixed by Aden Senycia (Nicholas Allbook, Peter Bibby, Rabbit Island, Pikelet), who has since joined the band on bass guitar. Have a new track to share?
