As this day continues to unfold, let’s pause for a few moments, open God’s Word and invite the Lord to shape our thinking with His wisdom. There are decisions that appear straightforward, and there are others that require patience, discernment and prayer. Sometimes the next step is obvious, while at other times we quietly wonder which direction will honour God most. Our heavenly Father understands those moments completely. He does not criticise us for asking; instead, He welcomes us to come with open hearts, knowing that His wisdom is given generously to all who seek Him James 1:5 (NIV) “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” What a reassuring promise for today. We are not expected to carry the weight of every decision alone. The Lord delights in guiding those who humbly seek Him, often giving quiet discernment, steady conviction and peaceful assurance as we walk with Him. His wisdom helps us see beyond the immediate moment and leads us towards choices marked by grace, truth and compassion. So today, let’s gently remind ourselves that fear will not win, because Jesus Christ generously gives wisdom to every heart that sincerely asks. Father, thank You for welcoming us whenever we come to You. Thank You that You never grow impatient with our questions and that You delight in leading Your children with kindness and wisdom. Lord Jesus, bless every listener today. Bring healing to those who are unwell, clarity to those facing important decisions, patience to those waiting for answers and confidence to everyone seeking to follow Your will. Help us listen carefully, respond faithfully and honour You in every choice we make. Holy Spirit, cultivate discernment within us, guide our thoughts with gentleness and help us reflect the wisdom of Christ in our words and actions today.
