James 3:1-12 - The Untamable Tongue

James has been teaching us about spiritual maturity in suffering, and good works as evidence of saving faith; Now he tells us that our speech is also evidence of our faith and obedience to the Lord. Our words can either inspire or expire, speak life or speak death, they either build up or they can destroy. In spite of the fact that man has tamed almost every large, wild, and ferocious creature; No man can tame the tongue. Only the “Holy Spirit” has the power to control the tongue. This week in James 3, we discuss the untamable tongue.
