James 4:7-17 - Fellowship with God and One Another

Previously, James warns us that envy and selfish ambition are not only the source of wars and fights among us, but also cause adultery and friendship with the world. We cause our spirit, which dwells in us, to long jealously for our hearts and affection. But there is good news; God gives more grace to those who humble themselves and seek Him. In verses 7-17, James tells us how we can have restored fellowship with God and Love one another; We Submit to God and resist the devil, we draw near to God by cleansing and purifying ourselves, and by humbling ourselves before Him.
