Jane is a long-term survivor of stage IV cancer. She is a former Chartered Physiotherapist who worked in the NHS and in private practice for 12 years. She is an award-winning author of How to Starve Cancer in which she describes her journey through cancer and her battle with infertility. She is best known for her Metro Map, a simple diagram of the complexity of cancer metabolism and for bringing the new approach of ferroptosis to the public. Because of her efforts to educate cancer patients since 2004, Jane was awarded Amazing Woman Global 2019 Lifetime Achievement Award.
