Janet Chandler, retired after 47 years teaching at HSE High School

After 47 years at Hamilton Southeastern High School, recently retired teacher Janet Chandler joins Larry Lannan to reflect on a career that spanned an extraordinary period of growth and change in Fishers. Chandler recalls arriving at a largely rural HSE High School with about 500 students and watching it grow to nearly 3,500. She discusses teaching French and social studies, coaching the We the People and Mock Trial teams, and helping students learn how to research difficult questions and defend their own conclusions.
