A Partir de hoy y durante tres programas, retomamos el ''Club de los 27'', hoy con dedicación a la inigualable voz y portentosa fuerza de Janis Joplin. El ''Club de los 27'' es una expresión utilizada para referirse a músicos, artistas, y actores que fallecieron a la edad de 27 años, a menudo como resultado del abuso de alcohol y drogas o causas violentas tales como homicidios, suicidio o accidentes relacionados con el transporte. La muerte de varios músicos a los 27 entre 1969 y 1971 llevó a la creencia popular de que el fallecimiento de los mismos era más común a esa edad. El "club" ha sido citado en repetidas ocasiones por revistas, periódicos y diversos medios de comunicación. Varias exposiciones se han dedicado al concepto, así como novelas, películas y presentaciones.
