January 15, 2026 - To Protect and Defend the Constitution? We still have a constitution?

from Transparent Conversations · host Calvin Pierce Jr

anuary 15, 2026 - To Protect and Defend the Constitution? We have a constitution?Once upon a time before Barack Obama was elected to be the 44th president of the United States everyone seemed to agree that America was a country of laws and those laws all were deemed to be legitimate and enforceable because they were interpreted to be in alignment with our Constitution. Ultimately the Constitution is the law of the land. If any American citizen doesn’t like a law on the federal or state level, they have the ability to  take that law all the way up to the Supreme Court and the Supreme Court  justices get to judge whether the law is constitutional or unconstitutional. Does that law align with the Constitution? That’s been the bedrock of our judicial system for as long as I can remember. That all seemed to change after Obama was elected. Once a Black man was elected to the highest office in the land, and completed two very successful terms everything changed. The constitution was no longer good enough for a distinct  group of Americans, and now we are up against their idea of a revolution.Remember Their NamesKeith PorterRenee Nicole GoodEssays-What’s next for the land of the free and the home of the brave?-When Your Country No Longer Feels Like Your Country-We are being played again?-To Protect and Defend The Constitution? My Substack - Please do me a solid and Subscribe - It's Free!https://transparentconvos.substack.com/
