Did you notice any similarities? I can answer that for you! Other than the Whiteness, Hell No! They actually have very little in common other than all being white and most likely very racist. It’s the racism that’s really holding it all together but that’s not the point of this essay. Racism is just American at this point. Racism got a 34 count convicted felon elected to the highest office in our country and he didn’t win by selling better ideas to the American people. He did it by repeating over and over again, “they want transgender for everyone”. According to Geminin, he’s used it over fifty times since being in office starting in January 2026. What does that even mean? Are we all due one gender affirming surgery or are people being kidnapped and forced to have gender affirming surgery? He has never had to actually explain what he means. All of us aren’t transgender, and we all don’t want to be trangendered, so what does he actually mean and why are they afraid of it. There will never be enough group therapy....We may be able to bring our country back from the edge of fascism but MAGA isn't going anywhere! The regime is pressing hard to change our voting laws with the Save Act now dead in congress, so the press is fully on to steal the 2026 Midterms by as much voter suppression as possible. The dictator in chief has already let Congress and the entire country know that not another piece of legislation will be signed into law unless the Save Act is passed.  He has already announced publicly that if he loses the Midterms he will be impeached by the Democrats. If anyone is aware they will probably be impeached then they probably already know that they are breaking the law on a very consistent basis. Usually  if a criminal decides that breaking laws works for them, they aren't going to just stop breaking those laws until someone makes them stop and that's usually how our federal level enforcement agencies work. But somehow MAGA has completely taken over the executive and the legislative branches of our government and they believe that laws do not apply to them, and that's my biggest issue with MAGA. They are out of alignment with everything that is good in the country. You already know my answer!What does the Republican party want for America or what has the Republican party done for America? I personally don’t have any good answers to that question. In my lifetime it has been the Democrats that have tirelessly worked to create a safety net for every citizen regardless of party membership. What is it good for?The President decided to go home on Friday night. He went to his club, that's also his home in Florida. He unilaterally declared war without getting authorization from congress, so the war is illegal, but everything is illegal with this regime. We never needed it, It was for Everyone ElseThere was a midair collision over the Potomac near the Ronald Reagan National Airport during the first week that the regime took power in January 2025. I’ve lived in the DMV for most of my life and we are very close to the Ronald Reagan National Airport. I’ve been to that airport a lot. If you live in this area, that airport is a part of everyday life here. So you can imagine how strange it was to hear that a Blackhawk Military helicopter ran into a commercial jet just taking off and leaving the area. It’s never happened before and we are used to seeing both military and commercial aircraft in this airspace all the time. This is the nation’s capital, there are two air force bases in the area, one is responsible for the president’s helicopters and the other base has Airforce One and other military jets that are used to defend the important airspace around the capital. It’s against the law to fly drones in this area. There’s been crashes at the airport before. Horrible crashes with a plane hitting the 14th Street bridge and going into the Potomac river once. It’s a very busy airspace and it’s very tightly controlled. Everyone including me was surprised to hear about the collision, and before we could actually find out what happened and what could have caused the crash, the regime had already stated that the crash was caused by the government’s DEI policies that were really amplified after the murder of George Floyd. Their premise seems to be that too many people of color were hired to perform jobs that they may not have been qualified to hold. That was the signal for us, the black people of this country, that we were about to get dragged through the mud and that every issue and problem that the country was suffering was going to be because of DEI and Immigration. Yep, four years of racial profiling was headed our way, and we already knew the play. They wanted to see us outside, rage protesting. Where's my Pitchfork?Gaslighting is a form of persistent, insidious psychological manipulation and emotional abuse where the abuser distorts reality, causing the victim to doubt their own memory, perception, and sanity. The goal is to gain power and control by making the victim question their reality, leading to dependence on the abuser. So if you were to believe all of the lies coming out of this administration then you are giving up your agency and putting yourself in a position that you will become dependent on the regime for your very existence. An existence that will never benefit you or your family but will afford them a very lush life. The very people that told us that the tariffs will make us all rich and that they were only going to deport the criminals and the bad immigrants but then turned around and requested one hundred and ninety billion dollars for DHS and ICE. Why would so many Americans fall for a bunch of lies from a man in a very cheap looking suit, orange skin, and a very insecure need to pretend that he has a head full of hair. How much money is too much Money?For some reason I remember seeing Mark Cuban in an interview on some podcast and they were asking  him questions about Elon Musk during his Doge days in the federal government. I don’t remember the questions or his answers, but I do remember the deference that was given to Musk. No matter that he didn’t agree with Musk’s actions, Musk was still one of them and it felt like he still needed to pay Musk the respect that was due to one his equals, and now lately that class of people have been very quiet, especially now that we are getting access to how they live and think. The Epstein files are slowly coming out more and more each day, it’s pretty safe to say that this Epstein Class of people, the oligarchs, are not very happy with democracy, especially if it gets in the way of making them money. I understand that getting justice for the now women, young girls back then is and should be the number one priority of the crimes that are being brought to light with each document release,  but we also need to take a very deep look at what else has been going on behind the gilded doors of these Wealthy Elites. They are trying to steal our DemocracyThis current trend of questioning federal election results started some time ago and has just continually gotten worse over time. It all came to a head in 2020 after Donald Trump and the republicans lost that election. There were over 60 court cases challenging the results of the 2020 Presidential election results. The republicans lost every case. There were also many recounts and the results never changed. Now even after winning the election in 2024 he is still either convinced or is trying to convince his base that the 2020 election was stolen without presenting any evidence. Stop Being a Sucker?There’s only been one time in my life that I can honestly say that I voted against my own interests. I was actually a registered Republican for a short time in my younger married days. I was actually a very observant Christian. The kind of Christian that didn’t listen to secular music, movies or television shows. So during that time I was against abortion, not that I didn’t believe that women should have control of their bodies or healthcare. The Church taught me abortion was wrong and I wanted to please God. So I actually voted for Republican candidates. I don’t remember who got my vote or did they deserve my vote. I just know they were pro-life and that’s all I need to know. This was during my first marriage. I was living in Virginia, and my career in I.T. was going well. Conservatives Always  Need a Boogeyman!Maybe it’s because I’m black and I grew up in the suburbs of Maryland right outside of Washington DC, and to say that it’s very liberal, and progressive really doesn’t do it justice. I had the honor of growing up in a diverse neighborhood. Attended diverse schools and worked for companies that welcomed diversity. I often tell people that I never experienced any racism until I went to the University of Alabama In Birmingham for college, my parents' home. It didn’t take me long to understand life in the south. The races don’t really blend down there and that’s a shame but it’s the deep south. That’s my background and having relationships with immigrants wasn’t a thing. We never worried about anyone's immigration status or if they spoke English or not. January 24, 2026 - What's up with the Democrats?Links in the bioThe Democrats Don’t Know How to Fight? How do we know if Democrats actually want to win in the midterms?  I don’t see it. I don’t see any leadership from the Democrats. The Republicans are now running a mass deportation program using the Customs and Border Patrol and ICE. Both of those organizations are running all over the country and without any regards for rights that are guaranteed in the constitution, They are disappearing immigrants, and citizens. You could be an American citizen, driving home from work and they can just pull your car over, and demand that you prove that you are an American citizen. If you refuse, they can bust your windows, drag you out of your car, and pepper spray you and your passengers. You will most definitely have a gun pointed at you for kicks and giggles. Worst case scenario, you can be detained for any amount of time they decide is right for the situation, or you can disappear. You also could be executed. ICE is openly killing people in the streets and in their detention centers. We often see Democrats from congress trying to flex their oversight duties. They will create a quick video of being turned away from a detention center, so we have  yet to address the horrible conditions in the detention centers. They are operating with no oversight. I understand that the Republicans hold immense power in congress, but they don’t hold all the power. Is American 2.0 loading…?I don’t know what to call what we are seeing. We are seeing poorly trained ICE agents, and extremely violent Customs And Border Patrol federal agents, being allowed or maybe ordered to violate as many constitutional rights as possible when interacting with the public in Minnesota. It seems like their mission has been upgraded to some type of Executive Branch Enforcement agency that’s fully immune from any types of laws or restraints. They are allowed to stop whoever they want to stop and ask you for your identification, to prove to them that you are a citizen or you are in some way permitted to be in this country. As a citizen of the United States, we did not have to prove our citizenship to anyone, unless there was probable cause. We did not have to present identification to any officer on any level that decided to check our identification. anuary 15, 2026 - To Protect and Defend the Constitution? We have a constitution?Once upon a time before Barack Obama was elected to be the 44th president of the United States everyone seemed to agree that America was a country of laws and those laws all were deemed to be legitimate and enforceable because they were interpreted to be in alignment with our Constitution. Ultimately the Constitution is the law of the land. If any American citizen doesn’t like a law on the federal or state level, they have the ability to  take that law all the way up to the Supreme Court and the Supreme Court  justices get to judge whether the law is constitutional or unconstitutional. Does that law align with the Constitution? That’s been the bedrock of our judicial system for as long as I can remember. That all seemed to change after Obama was elected. Once a Black man was elected to the highest office in the land, and completed two very successful terms everything changed. DaFUQ!The Monologue!What's Next for the land of free and the home of the brave?I personally have no idea, but I do know that I've lost all trust in my fellow Americans, until I know them personally. There's just too many miserable, angry, and lonely people to just open yourself up to negative energy.  I do know that whatever comes next,  we will have to live in such a way that we know that this can and probably will happen again. I do know that we can no longer trust in our American institutions. If allowing a convicted felon to run and become the leader of this country is our new reality,   I no longer believe in all the lies that we have been fed since birth. It was all propaganda to gain our compliance. I still believe that character matters and it's not about what I hear a person say, it's about how they move.I will move to build up my community and position us in a way that we will never have to rely on this system of exploitative capitalism to meet all of our needs. Community matters!  I still believe in a well regulated capitalistic system but this free for all exploitative capitalistic system will fail in the end. Either we all rise together or as we now know the enemies in our country will burn everything down to the ground. There is no substitute for teaching real critical thinking skills to our kids. As they Faith without works is dead .The truth is that there are people above the law. It's no longer a conspiracy theory. It is now just a fact. We see it daily as a convicted felon has taken over our government. An entire party has pledged nothing but complete obedience to him and the Supreme Court is simply letting our rights be violated daily. Character no longer matters to some.If you believe that masked men running around our country snatching brown people off the streets for whatever reason is Okay!, you are the real and present danger to everything that once made America great.  Also for the ones that are fine with carrying out clearly illegal orders, You are not my fellow Americans. Whatever happens in the next four years, we have to always be ready to take care of ourselves. We did talk, I was vulnerable and open. I thought we got to the same page, but I know longer think that's possible and that's fine with me at this point. I'm actually very happy with how things are ending, since I was really able to be completely transparent and she knows exactly where I am in life and she was able to make an informed decision that works for her.
