Self confessed 'sad boy' JC Stewart is one of the brightest and most brilliant singer/songwriters to have emerged in the last few years. Hailing from Northern Ireland his silky vocals , heartfelt songs and super catchy hooks have brought him much deserved success as a solo artist and also co-writing with luminaries including Lewis Capaldi, Tom O'Dell and Niall Horan. I caught up with him at his home studio where he was working on the next batch of songs and we chatted about his path to recent success , the dilemma facing most modern artists between artistry and content making and how his struggles with mental health influenced one of his finest songs "Loud" .
