JDRF is now "Breakthrough T1D" - Behind the rebrand (and other changes)

JDRF… is no more. A rebranding and name change means the organization founded in 1970 by concerned parents will now be known as Breakthrough T1D. You can guess some of the reasons for this change – the "J" for juvenile has long been a turn off for adults living with type 1 – but some of the other reasons are surprising.
