Jeff Rose | Righteous Resistance | REFINED

Righteous ResistanceCatch up from Sunday as we explored the story of Joseph through the lens of "cause and effect". Jeff walks through Genesis 39:6-23, looking at Joseph's temptation by Potiphar's wife and his righteous resistance! We look at:Blessing others through God's presence: Joseph blessed Potiphar's household simply by being there, fulfilling God's promise to Abraham that those who bless God's people will be blessed.- Resisting temptation: When Potiphar's wife repeatedly tried to seduce Joseph, he didn't just refuse - he fled, leaving his robe behind rather than compromising his integrity.-Sin against God, not just people: Joseph recognized that yielding to temptation wouldn't just be a betrayal of Potiphar, but fundamentally a sin against God.- God's presence in consequences: Though Joseph suffered unjust imprisonment due to false accusations, God was with him, extending kindness and favor even in prison. The sermon challenges us to consider: Are we willing to flee temptation completely? Do we recognize that God can be present with us even in unjust circumstances?📅 Sunday's🕐 10:30am📍 Emmanuel's Yard, TrowbridgeBring a friend and experience the difference together.#SundayService #ChurchFamily #GatheredAroundJesus
