Jesse Eisenberg: Movies are alive, follow your instincts (A Real Pain, The Social Network, Zombieland) #600

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the Distraction Pieces Podcast with Scroobius Pip!This week Pip is joined by the multi-talented actor, writer and filmmaker JESSE EISEINBERG!Jesse's latest film 'A Real Pain' drops in the UK on January 8th, so this is a timely catch up and check in on what's been happening and what's on the horizon, as well as all the awesome mechanics involved (definitely notepad-worthy if you're of a similar discipline and mindset!).He and Pip cover so much ground in this one, including being a self proclaimed hermit but attempted traveller, the benefits of regular writing, finding ideas everywhere especially when the algorithm unwittingly delivers them, working with day to day problems against larger traumatic backdrops, fatherhood and working with children, roles of the past, the importance and significance of all the crew members involved with each film, and working with Kieran Culkin on his latest. Don't just sit there refreshing the page, listen in!PIP'S PATREON PAGE if you're of a supporting natureA REAL PAINIMDBUNOFFICIAL BUT COMPREHENSIVE IGSOCIAL NETWORKWHEN YOU'RE FINISHED SAVING THE WORLDSPEECH DEVELOPMENT WEBSTOREPIP TWITCH • (music stuff)PIP INSTAGRAMPIP TWITTERPIP PATREONPIP IMDBPOD BIBLE Hosted on Acast.
