1 Peter 5:5-11 – How good it is to know that we as individuals are not just a number in line or another face in the crowd to Jesus. Since he cares for us personally, we get to say with confidence, “Jesus cares about ME! He cares about ME when I think that he doesn’t and when I know that he does.” Two additional readings that pair well with these verses are Isaiah 40:27-32 and Mark 1:29-39.
