Jesus is the Prince of Peace

God created us to live in peace and tranquility. Peace means freedom from disturbance and agitation, tranquility; a state or period in which there is no war or a war has ended. God placed Adam and Eve in a beautiful, peaceful garden. However, they chose to sin and disobey God and they lost their peace. Whenever we disobey God, we lose our peace.   But God is a merciful God. He sent Jesus, the Prince of Peace to restore our peace and to bring world peace.   "For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father [of Eternity], Prince of Peace. [Isa. 25:1; 40:9-11; Matt. 28:18; Luke 2:11.] Of the increase of His government and of peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from the [latter] time forth, even forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
