As we continue to follow Jesus toward the cross in the Gospel of Mark, He steadily reveals what it truly means to be His disciple. In this passage, we see that who Jesus is determines how we live. If Jesus is the Servant of all, then we are called to become servants as well.Yet, even as Jesus speaks plainly, the disciples remain confused. Their hearts are still shaped by ideas of status, elitism, and exclusivity.
