What looks like defeat is actually the beginning of something new—and it reshapes how we live with humility, hope, and unshakable confidence.

On Maundy Thursday, we walk with Jesus from the table to the mountain, where the faithful Savior stands while His disciples fall away. In Gethsemane, we see the weight of the cup He came to drink—the judgment we deserved—and His willing surrender to the Father’s will. At the Table, we are reminded that Christ entered our weakness so that we might share in the fullness of His life.

    Spy Wednesday | Mark 14:1-11

Jesus, the Reward | Mark 10:13-31

Jesus, the Greatest Servant | Mark 9:30-50

As we continue to follow Jesus toward the cross in the Gospel of Mark, He steadily reveals what it truly means to be His disciple. In this passage, we see that who Jesus is determines how we live. If Jesus is the Servant of all, then we are called to become servants as well.Yet, even as Jesus speaks plainly, the disciples remain confused.
