Jesus The Serpent Crusher

Jesus Christ our Messiah is God’s Promise! He is full of energy and His word is completely effective! TPT “For what we have is the living word of God, which is full of energy,” all effective. Heb. 4:12 Jesus decapitated the enemy because He is the serpent Crusher! Gen. 3:15 “He will crush your head.” Jesus crushed the HEAD (POWER AND AUTHORITY) of Satan, by taking away the power of sin and death. A heel bite compared to a head crush! The serpent will bite the heel of “the woman’s seed.” But Jesus will crush the serpent’s head! The Amplified Bible brings this out: “And you shall [only] bruise His heel.” The striking of the Messiah’s heel was a picture of the wounding and death of Jesus on the cross. Satan bruised Jesus’ “heel,” but Jesus showed complete dominance over Satan by crushing his “head.” God always had the plan of salvation in mind. Satan tried to usurp power and change God’s plan but, God was way ahead of him. God prophesied of Jesus, the Serpent-crusher’s victory over Satan and over all evil! Jesus Christ our Anointed Messiah, perfectly fulfilled God’s mission which was to destroy the devil’s work. “The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work” 1 John 3:8.
