Jewish Org Demands Ed Sheeran Drop His Headliner, Macklemore, From Tour

The Israeli American Council is demanding Ed Sheeran remove Macklemore from his concert lineup, after Macklemore made a “Free Palestine” statement and sang his protest song, ‘Hind’s Hall” while headlining for Sheeran this weekend at MetLife Stadium. The non-profit Jewish organization has not only called on Sheeran to take action, but also his tour leadership and the venues hosting the tour. The group also wants to know who knew in advance about Macklemore’s speech, visual content and performance, saying “freedom of expression does not mean freedom from responsibility.” ” See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
