Jim Beach - The Nickname That Didn't Stick

from The Best Ever You Show · host Elizabeth Hamilton-Guarino and Dr. Katie Eastman

Jim Beach was born to two deaf parents. He learned American Sign Language before he could speak. Because of this, he struggled with the ability to communicate with the hearing world. He was incorrectly labeled as having a severe learning disability by his elementary school officials. It was not until Jim met someone at the age of 20 that he was able to improve his English and communication skills dramatically. Soon, he entered into the medical field, eventually moving on to business and sales. With over 20 years of sales experience, Jim has been the top sales person of several companies and believes that personal development helped him find success. Today he coaches, trains, and is a guest speaker for a variety of organizations on the topic of personal development. He is also the author of the book, "The Nickname That Didn't Stick".
