THE JEREMIAH SHOW - Featuring Jim McAninch, Contemporary Artist Jim McAninch is a contemporary Artist, based in Santa Barbara He is also a founding member of LCCCA – an artist’s cooperative located in La Cumbre Plaza, Santa Barbara. Jim is a UC Santa Barbara with a major in Art and a double minor in Film History and Religious Studies. He was awarded a MFA from UC San Diego in 1984 in Visual Art. While at UCSD he studied with performance poet David Antin and postmodern feminist performance artist Elenor Antin. Jim has had exhibits in Berlin and Wroclaw Poland. The works in Europe were collaborations with the Berlin-based Roland Schefferski 2004-2005. His present interest is in discourse between artists and within the community.
