from Lead with Empower Podcast

Today's guest on the Lead with Empower Podcast is one of the first few people I met at Springfield College back in late August of 1998 - my New Student Orientation Leader and tremendous friend, Jim Warnock. Jim, a physical education and health teacher at South Windsor High School, shares personal stories and insight into his journey from college All-American lacrosse player and college lacrosse coach, to his current role at South Windsor High School. Jim is passionate about leadership and it truly shows in his work with all students he crosses paths with!Leadership Notes and Other Highlights: As a very active individual and physical educator, Jim discusses some of the challenges to distant learning during the COVID-19 pandemic Jim shares his story of serious injuries sustained after being struck by a vehicle and describes his path to physical, mental and emotional recovery. Coach Keith Bugbee and Coach John Klepacki are two influences on Jim both personally and professionally. Jim shares his thoughts on their impact! Soft skills? That's a negative, the soft skills are actually essential skills! Musical Credit to Matt Jaskot matthewjaskot.comhttps://soundcloud.com/matt-jaskot
